Artemis Kadkhodaian signed with Gateway on May 23, 2018, to begin his first season with the Grizzlies and his second as a professional.

A middle infielder, Kadkhodaian spent 2017 in the Los Angeles Angels' system. He played five games for the Arizona League Angels (ROK) and 44 games for the Burlington Bees (Class-A, Midwest League), where he was teammates with current Grizzlies catcher Brennan Morgan. Kadkhodaian hit .228 (.624 OPS) with three home runs and 14 RBIs for the Bees.

The Fayetteville, Georgia, native played four years at the University of West Georgia (NCAA Div. II). He posted a career .791 OPS.
