- Signed from the California Winter League after hitting .412 with four RBIs over 16 games

- Played three years collegiately at the University of Akron (NCAA D-I), where he batted .261 with 19 RBIs in 47 games as a senior in 2022

- Also played two seasons at Lewis & Clark Community College (IL), batting .284 with seven RBIs and 15 stolen bases as a sophomore in 2019, and .316 with 13 RBIs and 20 stolen bases in 42 games as a freshman in 2018

- Coached at Lewis & Clark by both current Grizzlies bench coach Alex Ferguson and former Grizzlies pitching coach Randy Martz
