Get ready for one of the most exciting weekends of the summer at Arsenal BG Ballpark with the Gateway Grizzlies Home Run Derby Weekend, August 7–9! Featuring a pre-game home run derby every game, this three-day event brings power hitting, fan favorites, youth competition, and postgame fireworks all together for an unforgettable weekend at the ballpark.
Friday, August 7 – Grizz Greats Home Run Derby
Kick off the weekend as former Gateway Grizzlies players return to the ballpark to compete in a special Grizz Greats Home Run Derby. Watch fan-favorite alumni step back into the batter’s box and relive some of the biggest moments in franchise history. The evening will also include postgame fireworks, the RV & Campout Expo, and a Boy Scout Sleepover.
Saturday, August 8 – Youth Baseball Home Run Derby Presented by Centerstone
Saturday features the next generation of sluggers as local youth baseball leagues take part in a pre-game Home Run Derby. Teams will compete for bragging rights in a fun, high-energy competition before the Grizzlies take the field. Sunday, August 9 – Softball Home Run Derby
Close out the weekend with a special Softball Home Run Derby, showcasing some of the area’s top hitters as they compete for the title.
