- Excelled as a rookie in 2022 for Single-A Palm Beach, with a 1.64 ERA, 10 strikeouts, and five walks in 11 innings over 10 appearances

- Selected by St. Louis in the 15th round of the 2022 MLB Draft out of Tarleton State University (NCAA D-I), where he struck out 40 and walked only seven in 32 innings over 21 games in his lone season

- Also played four years at Weatherford College in his home state of Texas, where he notched eight saves in 17 appearances with a 1.19 ERA, 41 strikeouts, and 13 walks over 37 2/3 innings as a senior
