Bio

Mike Elwood is entering his third year in the Frontier League, and second with the Grizzlies. He was named a Frontier League All-Star last season when he set a Grizzlies single-season record with 42 appearances, all of which were out of the bullpen. Elwood led qualified Gateway pitchers with a 3.05 ERA, and he struck out 70 batters (against 24 walks) in only 59 innings. He previously pitched for the Normal CornBelters in 2016.

Elwood will turn 26 in September.

Before making his first appearance in the Frontier League, Mike played for Canisius College in Buffalo, N.Y., for two years. He graduated in 2016.
