2019 Schedule Release

 SAUGET, Ill. - The Gateway Grizzlies are excited to release home, away and preseason dates for the 2019 season at GCS Credit Union Ballpark.  The Frontier League officially announced the 2019 schedule Monday, October 15th.

 

The Grizzlies 2019 campaign will begin on Friday, May 10th with a weekend series against the Schaumburg Boomers. Opening Day at the Ballpark is sponsored by GCS Credit Union and will feature giveaways, live music, wild promotions and more.

Key dates returning in 2019 include:

(Opening Weekend - May 10-12)

(3 June Weekend Series – June1-2, 14-16, 28-30)

(All-American Week - July 2-4)

(B4 School Bash - Aug. 9-11)

(Fan Appreciation/Greatest Night In Baseball – Aug 30-Sept 1)

 

Gateway will play with a two home preseason games.  The Grizzlies will host the Southern Illinois Miners on Wednesday, May 1 in a day game.  The Grizzlies will close their home preseason dates with River City on Saturday, May 4th.

The Grizzlies full promotional schedule will be finalized post-new year, and should be available on gatewaygrizzlies.com in early 2019.  Official game times will be released with the promotional schedule.
