Bio

Katie comes to the Grizzlies front office to help with team and stadium operations as well as marketing and promotions. She attended the University of Georgia where she pitched for the Bulldogs softball team and led her team to one SEC Championship and three trips to the Super Regional tournament. Katie earned her bachelor’s degree in print journalism at UGA and then went on to intern with Turner Sports in Atlanta where she did live television production and public relations.

Prior to the Grizzlies, Katie was Program Head for Softball at Harvard Westlake School in Studio City, CA, the number three private middle and high school in the United States. She also owned and operated an indoor training facility for girls’ softball in El Segundo, CA for three years.

Katie picked up a baseball in October 2016 and began training as a right handed pitcher with Tom House of the National Pitching Association. After throwing in the California Winter League, Katie made the move to Sauget, IL to continue training with Pitching Coach, Randy Wells at GCS Credit Union Ballpark while working in the Grizzlies’ front office.
