Evan joins the Gateway Grizzlies after spending last season in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.
Through 40 games in the minor leagues last season, Evan had a .242 batting average and also finished with a .403 slugging percentage.
He played his college ball at Mars Hill University in North Carolina. As a lion, he hit 19 home runs and scored 66 runs in 48 games.
