Bio
Jordan Wellander signed with the Grizzlies on May 26, 2015 after beginning the 2015 season with the Joliet Slammers.
The right-hander spent all of 2014 with the Slammers after he was traded to Joliet from Lake Erie before the season. He posted a 4-1 record with a 3.31 ERA in 40 appearances for Joliet in 2014. In 2013 with Lake Erie, Wellander went 4-2 with a 2.31 ERA in 35 appearances.
The Alabama native has also spent time with the Sioux Falls Pheasants of the American Association. He played collegiately at Barry University and Brevard Community College.
