Bio

Alex Wilson is the Assistant General Manager of the Gateway Grizzlies, a position that he has held since January of 2015. Alex oversees all Grizzlies’ media marketing, advertising, website and public relations interactions, while managing in-season and off-season departmental functions. He also serves as the club's corporate sales and partnerships administrator.

After joining the club in May 2012 in the Broadcasting and Media Relations Department, Alex quickly transitioned into work with the club’s Media and Marketing Division. He brings multiple years of sports marketing and corporate branding experience to the franchise, spending time in the legal, agricultural, and college sports entertainment fields.

Born and raised in Seattle, Wash., Alex attended high school in Kansas before traveling to the Greater St. Louis Area.  He is a 2012 graduate of Greenville College, with a B.A. in Communications; Public Relations with emphasis in Business Administration and Marketing. Alex was a member of NCAA Div. III Greenville College athletics, participating in both football and track & field.

Alex resides in St. Louis and enjoys all types of marketing and design, physical fitness, attending sporting events, and time with family and friends.
