SAUGET, IL: The Gateway Grizzlies will host their annual golf tournament on Friday, April 24. All proceeds from the tournament benefit the Illinois Fire Safety Alliance (IFSA) Camp for Kids and SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital. The event will be held at the Far Oaks Golf Club located in Caseyville, IL.

"We have a great relationship with SSM Health and the ISFA Burn Camp. These organizations do important work with children in our community and we are happy to support them," says Steve Gomric, Grizzlies General Manager.

Registration begins at 11 a.m. on the 24th with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. The tournament includes a pre-shotgun lunch, door prizes, domestic beer, Pepsi products, and a dinner buffet. On the course golfers will enjoy the scramble format as well as long drive contests, closest to the pin contests, skins, and a surprise "Get Grizzlie" contest.

"This is the kickoff to our season. Our golf tournament is the first time that players, fans, staff, local partners, and host families get together for the year," says Steve Gomric, Grizzlies General Manager.
