LATE COMEBACK NOT ENOUGH, GRIZZLIES DROP GAME ONE

SAUGET, Ill. – Down by twelve runs, Gateway scored nine runs in the home half of the seventh inning, but could not keep up the pace. Windy City takes game one by a final score of 13-9.

Gateway starter Will Anderson gave up a leadoff home run to Windy City centerfielder Keenyn Walker on the second pitch of the game. Anderson then forced home a second run after hitting catcher Corey Bass in the top of the first.
